WORSHIP - SERVE
Worship is defined as our responses to the recognition of who God is and what He has done. In the context of the church, we need to worship corporately. This is accomplished in three main areas. First, the Sunday morning service is the most obvious form of corporate worship where we worship God in song, in prayer and in the reading and teaching of the Word of God. Second, we worship when we practice the ordinances such as water baptism and the communion service, healing service, and child dedication. Third, the church should gather for corporate times of prayer.
Listed below are opportunites inside CFC for all members to fulfull our mission as Christians to be fruitful followers of Christ and serve in a worship based ministry.

Healing Service
Scheduled as needed with the approval of the Elder BoardJames 5:14-16 "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."
James 5:14-16 gives the church the responsibility to intercede for the sick. We here at Christian Fellowship Church have seen miracles happen as a result of this service. Some are dramatically healed instantaneously and some over a period of time. Not everyone who calls for the Elders is healed; God is sovereign and He chooses whom He heals.
Those who are sick are told to call on the Elders of the church to pray for healing. This shows dependency on God to be the healer, and the willingness to follow His instruction. The service itself begins with a prayer of confession, since the sickness may be caused by unconfessed sin. The next step is the prayer of faith with the anointing of oil. The oil is symbolic of the healing and the prayer of faith is the agreement of the will of man with the will of God.
