Instruction is the process where the Word of God is taught so that we may know God and His ways in order that we apply these timeless truths to our lives. This is accomplished through the teaching of the Word, being accurate to the authors' (The Holy Spirit and the human writers) intention. Another area closely related to this aspect would be "equipping of the saints for the work of service" (Eph. 4:12). Equipping carries the idea of training someone to do a task. This would certainly use the Bible as its primary source but could use secondary sources which do not contradict the teaching of the Bible.

Listed below are opportunites inside CFC for all members to fulfull our mission as Christians to be fruitful followers of Christ and serve others through teaching God's word to others.

Junior Church Ministry

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.

The Jr. Church Ministry at Christian Fellowship Church includes all children, ages pre-school through 6th grade. They are the foundation of the church-to-come, and need adults to love them and teach them the love of Jesus Christ and the promises of His Word.

Opportunities are available in all age groups for the following positions: Training is provided for all positions, the curriculum is fun and user friendly, requiring only 35 - 40 minutes of preparation before each class. Classroom assignments are scheduled on a rotating basis, depending on the age group assigned. Assistance from Missions and the Music Ministry is provided throughout the year.

Nursery Program

During Sunday Service, 10:00 - 11:30 am

Psalm 127:3 "Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward."

The nursery program at Christian Fellowship Church is comprised of two separate classrooms, "Walkers" and "Pre-Walkers" with two adults in each classroom.

If you have a heart for young children and would like to be blessed while teaching the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ, please consider volunteering for this very important children's ministry. Volunteers serve on a rotation basis.

If you have children in this age group, please feel free to bring them to the nursery and allow us to be of assistance to you and minister to them during our Sunday Morning service.

This class meets in the designated nursery classrooms.

Youth Ministry

Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with the wise grows wise, But a companion of fools suffers harm.

Christian adult role models are critical to the youth of our church. Our youth participate in many functions at the church including Bible Study, Fellowship and Evangelism, for Middle School grades 7 & 8 and High School grades 9 - 12, each Wednesday night. The young people in our church and their friends need adults to model the love of Jesus Christ. Many opportunities are available.

If you have a love for youth and a desire for them to know Christ and His Word, if you enjoy having fun and have a listening ear, we need you.
