Fellowship tends to be thought of as any gathering of Christians. Fellowship in the Bible carries with it a much more precise definition. The biblical idea of Fellowship is that Christians need to be in relationships which, in turn, are centered on glorifying God. Three key activities need to be addressed for CFC to accomplish this task. First, CFC must encourage "community" at all levels of intimacy. Community is best described as where the "one-another's" happen between Christians, especially the primary one, love one another (John 13:34-35; Acts 2:42). Second, CFC members must use their God-given gifts to build up the body. The Lord is seen when we use His gifts to minister to one another (1 Cor. 12:7; 1 Peter 4:10). Third, the restoration process of church discipline is another way in which we achieve Fellowship. This is God's plan for dealing with sin inside the body. The primary goal is to restore one who has erred from the clear mandates of Scripture to a right relationship with God and with fellow believers. These confrontations must balance God's truth with a humble, loving attitude.

Listed below are opportunites inside CFC for all members to fulfull our mission as Christians to be fruitful followers of Christ and serve in a fellowship based ministry.

First Fruits Ministry

Scheduled as needed.

Galatians 6:10 "Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith."

The First Fruits ministry at Christian Fellowship Church was designed as a commitment of Faith by those involved, that God will supply all our needs if we put others first by assisting our brothers and sisters in Christ whenever the opportunity arises.

The concept of the ministry is that a body of believers would be available to assist one another with such projects as packing, moving, home repair, small building projects, cleaning, yard work, painting, etc.

All volunteers to this ministry are welcome. We encourage you to consider Matthew 6:33, Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. and reap the blessings of giving your "First Fruits" to help one another.

Click here to contact the church office if you would like to learn more about joining this ministry or if you have an upcoming need for assistance.

Food Pantry

Malachi 3:10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse so that there may be food in my house and test me now in this… if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no more need."

At Christian Fellowship Church we know that God blesses those who give to help those in need.

The Christian Fellowship Food Pantry is available as a part of the Mercy and Helps ministry, to share God's blessings by assisting those in need of food and personal supplies such as shampoo, deodorant, diapers and laundry detergent.

Click here to contact the church office if you have need of assistance from the pantry, or would like to donate items.

Greeting Ministry

John 13:25 "By this all men will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another."

Greeters are the first impression of the church body. Warmly greeting visitors and regular attenders allows them to feel welcomed and sets the stage for what is to come within the church walls.

Greeters are assigned in pairs to the front and back doors, and are required to arrive at the church 20 minutes before each service.

Click here to contact the church office if you would like to be on the front-lines of showing the love of Christ to our visitors and regular attenders.

Meals Ministry

Romans 12:6-8 "We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve...if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously."

The meals ministry is a unique opportunity to minister to others by providing a meal at a time when an individual or family in our church body is in need.

Participants in this ministry prepare and deliver a meal to a family or individual who may have welcomed a new baby into their home, had surgery, had an extended or serious illness, or suffered the loss of a family member. A warm smile and a meal delivered during difficult times are both welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Click here to contact the church office if you would like to receive meals, know of someone in need of meals, or would like to become a part of this exciting ministry of service to others.

Mercy and Helps Ministry

James 2:15-16 "If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them 'Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,' but you do not give them things that are needed for the body, what does it profit?"

The Mercy and Helps Ministry, funded by Benevolence, is designated to minister to the church body by giving to those who because of life circumstances are in need of material aid or financial assistance. Funds may also be used to assist those going into full-time ministry.

It is the desire of this ministry to bring all whose lives they touch to a fuller understanding of Jesus Christ. They desire to demonstrate seeking the Lord's will and showing good stewardship of his time and money. All requests are prayerfully brought to the Lord for wisdom and discernment.

Click here to contact the church office if you are experiencing difficult life circumstances and are in need of prayer and assistance.

Prayer Chain

James 5:16a "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed."

One of the vital ways members of Christian Fellowship Church minister to each other and fulfill the command to pray for one another is by participating in the prayer chain.

Urgent prayer requests received by the Prayer Chain Coordinator are immediately lifted before the Lord. In addition to immediate prayer, each time a request is made known to the prayer coordinator a phone chain is activated within the church body.

Click here to contact the church office if you have an urgent prayer request or would like to become a member of this intercessory prayer chain ministry.
